Delete my MyDoha account

You can delete your MyDoha account at any time, directly from the app or by contacting us by email. Deletion is permanent and removes all your personal data, subject to the legal retention periods detailed below.

1. Delete your account from the app

1. Open the MyDoha app on iOS or Android. 2. Go to Profile (bottom-right icon). 3. Scroll down to the "Account" section. 4. Tap "Delete my account". 5. Confirm the deletion. Deletion is immediate within the app: your session is closed and your account is no longer accessible. Full server-side processing is completed within 30 days.

2. Delete your account by email

If you no longer have access to the app (lost phone, uninstalled, etc.), email contact@mabaguetteadoha.com from the address associated with your MyDoha account. Recommended subject: "Delete my MyDoha account". We acknowledge receipt within 48 hours and complete deletion within a maximum of 7 business days. To verify your identity, we may ask you to confirm the account email from your inbox.

3. Data deleted immediately

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently erased from our servers: • Profile (first name, neighborhood, interests, arrival date) • Authentication email • Push notification tokens (Expo Push Token) • Notification preferences • Saved events and reminders • Referral code and links with your referred users

4. Data retained (legal obligation)

Some data is retained beyond account deletion to comply with legal obligations: • Anonymized activity logs: 12 months This data can no longer identify you as an active user and is never used for commercial or advertising purposes.

5. Reversibility

Once your deletion request is confirmed, your data is permanently erased and cannot be restored. If you wish to use MyDoha again later, you will need to create a new account (your referral code and referred users cannot be recovered). If you change your mind before the final deletion (within 30 days), contact us immediately at contact@mabaguetteadoha.com.
