By downloading, installing, or using MyDoha (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms in their entirety, please do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VirtualBridge LLC. You must be at least 16 years old to use MyDoha.
MyDoha is a free community app for French-speaking expats living in Doha, Qatar. The App provides, among other things: • Today's events and an events calendar in Doha • Weather, daily info and useful notifications • Favorites, reminders and event filters • User profile, support, reports and suggested corrections Content is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy or real-time freshness of information. Events may be changed or cancelled without notice by their organizers.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. Authentication is done exclusively via magic link sent by email (no password required). You are responsible for maintaining access to your email inbox and for all activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account. Deletion results in permanent removal of all your personal data within 30 days.
MyDoha currently does not offer any paid in-app subscription. Access to the public events features is free. If paid offers or commercial partnerships are added in the future, they will be clearly disclosed and covered by updated terms before any subscription.
You can use the public events features for free, with no commitment.
When you publish or suggest content in the app (community event, report, correction, support message), you are solely responsible for the content you submit. You agree not to publish content that is: • Illegal under Qatari, US or European law • Insulting, defamatory, threatening or harassing • Infringing someone else's privacy • Violating intellectual property rights • Spam or unsolicited commercial advertising MyDoha has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Reported content is reviewed and, where appropriate, removed within 24 hours, and users who post objectionable content or behave abusively may be banned from the service. By publishing content, you grant VirtualBridge LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display and distribute that content as part of the service. We reserve the right to remove non-compliant content and suspend violating accounts without notice.
The MyDoha App, its source code, design, logos, text, databases, and all content are the exclusive property of VirtualBridge LLC or its licensors. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for strictly personal and non-commercial purposes. The following are strictly prohibited: • Reproducing, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative works • Reverse engineering the App • Using App data for commercial purposes without prior written consent • Scraping or automatically extracting content from the App
Information displayed in MyDoha is provided for guidance only. It may come from public sources, partners or community contributions, and may contain errors, inaccuracies or outdated information. MyDoha is NOT: • An official service of any embassy or Qatari authority • Professional legal advice • Medical or health advice • Financial or tax advice Always verify important information with the organizer, competent authority or a qualified professional.
The App offers a community help space where members can ask and answer questions. Questions and answers are public within the app and displayed with your first name and profile photo. You remain solely responsible for the content you post (see section 6). A reporting and blocking system is available: we moderate reported content and may remove any non-compliant content and suspend offending accounts, without notice.
You may terminate your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access without notice in case of: • Violation of these Terms • Fraudulent or abusive behavior • Prolonged inactivity (more than 24 months) • Discontinuation or shutdown of the service
The App is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law: • VirtualBridge LLC does not guarantee continuous service availability • VirtualBridge LLC is not responsible for interruptions caused by third-party providers (Supabase, Apple, Google) • VirtualBridge LLC is not responsible for information about third-party events • VirtualBridge LLC is not responsible for decisions made based on event information not verified with the organizer Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America. For users residing in the European Union: mandatory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence remain applicable and prevail over US law in the matters they govern. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Wyoming, subject to the mandatory procedural rights of European consumers.
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect 30 days after publication in the App. You will be notified of material changes via push notification and/or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the new Terms, you must stop using the App and may request account deletion.
